about us This is Komorrah, a city full of corruption, poverty, and crime. While there's good and bad in every city, this one has dogs. A lot of stray dogs.
Set in a modern-day, fictionalized version of New York City, Komorrah has much to offer our gang dogs. Strays on the street feed from human negligence and thrive on the loopholes they can fit their snouts in. It's every dog for themselves
out there, though living with and having the support of a gang is helpful.
Tensions rise, enemies are made, but perhaps alliances are arranged. Only the strong survive this harsh hand the strays have been dealt. What will be your choice in Infidelis?
featured adoptable TINKER • APP Once living the life of luxury in a nice home, Tinker has yet to accept the fact that he's now a stray and no one is coming to save him. Vain as all hell, Tinker is pretty entitled. He's also selfish and is very territorial over what's his and his alone.

I love character theme songs so you can totally expect me to update this list from time to time And I'm so sorry for my rambling I just love talking about this stuff. Also it's almost 3 AM forgive me if this all is an incoherent mess
BONES:
My Shot from the Hamilton soundtrack: Though a bunch of the lyrics obviously don't apply, this is the first song that really reminded me of Bones. He's pretty ambitious, since he has a deep desire to prove himself and be strong and useful for his gang. He's got an excellent work ethic, if by excellent you mean 'work yourself to the bone'. He wants to prove he's capable both to himself and the Dodgers.
Nothing Left to Say by Imagine Dragons: Bones felt absolutely horrible in the pound, as is to be expected. He really didn't cope well with being caged and pretty much gave up after his attempts to escape were unsuccesful. The feeling of being stuck and trapped kind of followed him, even though he was freed, since almost immediately after he heard the news about Tobi's death which was even worse than being in a cage for months. So he's just really aimless and and miserable and I think this song's good for that.
Earth by Sleeping At Last: Okay so this probably seems odd at first, but I think of the lyrics as a symbolic representation of what's going on with the Dodgers right now and how it's affecting Bones. Continuing with the theme of being aimless and miserable, Bones is really torn over the fact that his gang seems in his eyes to be falling apart in the wake of Tobi's death (the 'earthquake' in the song) and the change of leadership, and everything else that's going on. Basically, Bones has complicated feelings about all this because he wants to stay true to the gang, whatever happens, but he can't accept what's happened or move on. He just needs a hug, man.
Neptune by Sleeping At Last: Yes I really love the band's set of songs with space themed names shh. Bones is trying really hard, he's always tried hard at everything. And now he's trying really hard to keep it together when he's had his world ripped from under his paws, and it's really not easy. He's slowly coming to realize that he loved Tobi and never got to tell her how he felt, so this song's kinda angst about that and how he's pretty messed up about it.
I LOVE character themes, and themes for overall basically. Like Panicky up there I may update this list from time-to-time!
JAYE Mr. Tambourine Man by Bob Dylan: This song is part of my Spotify playlist for Jaye, as well as being her main theme song. The lyrics and song tune sound slightly melancholy like Jaye's current personality. It's a pretty sad song to be honest, and it fits Jaye perfectly. She just has a melancholic personality now, and she needs some melancholic songs to go with it.
Blame by Air Traffic Controller: This song probably suits Jaye the most. It's a super sad song, and it kind of brings tears to my eyes sometimes. It matches Jaye's thoughts now for most of the time, and then how eventually she feels some courage, and makes her realize maybe having children is a good thing for her.
Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley: This song is probably one of the most sadder ones I'm able to think of. I believe it slightly resembles Jaye's thoughts and now melancholic personality.
Turn! Turn! Turn! by The Byrds: I really like this song personally, not just because I'm an "old soul"(meaning I enjoy listening to older music), but because I think this song also suits Jaye. Listen to it, and maybe you may also slightly understand.
Mad World by Gary Jules: I know well that this song is considered a "meme song", but the melancholic and sad lyrics and tone it has makes me really think of Jaye when I listen to it.
BRIE Bad Blood by Creature Feature: This song is kind of eery and haunting, and matches Brie's generally psycho and crazy personality towards dogs not of her gang. Brie definitely has some bad blood in there, I mean, she killed her parents ;-; Creature Feature is also generally one of my favorite bands.
Psycho Teddy by Psycho Teddy: Psycho Teddy is a pretty interesting song, but it's mainly German, but there's also an English version. For those who don't understand German, it's basically about a plush teddy bear who is basically, a psycho teddy, acting friendly at first but then there's a more "psycho" version eventually after the "cute parts". I believe the "cute" parts match Brie's personality towards her gang, but the "psycho" parts in my opinion resemble her personality when she is around others who are not from her gang.
STEELE Sexy and I Know It by LMFAO: Pretty self-explanatory. Steele is extremely flirty and believes he's got the best looks. Yep, he's sexy and he definitely knows it.
KAYNE A Gorey Demise by Creature Feature: This song perfectly matches Kayne. I mean, the "alphabet" of the dead people reminds me of Kayne's victims and how they were killed. He's murdered two dogs and also thrown one in a fire. One could probably make a song about him similar to this if someone would be able to.
Bad Blood by Creature Feature: Not only do I think of this song as somewhat Brie's song, I also consider this one Kayne's mostly. It matches his horrible and sadistic, monstrous personality, and it definitely matches him. However, maybe this "playlist" will change once someone manages to make Kayne's day. I kind of think of this as a Kayne/Kelpie theme due to the "I gurantee that we'll do evil things" lyric.
EUREKA Drowsy Maggie by The Chieftains: Most of Eureka's songs are mainly Irish or beach-themed, but this song seems to fit her the most. When I listen to it, I always think of her running along the beach with her bird Hawkeye.
Misirlou by Dick Dale: As you can see from watching the video, this song is the theme song of the 1994 crime film Pulp Fiction. In my opinion, it's a really cool and awesome song, and I decided to make it one of Eureka's main songs.

Nikolai - "Fault Line" by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club I usually think of general sound of a song as just as, if not more important than, the lyrical content. For Nikolai, the lyrics of melancholy and wandering relate to him, but it's really that folksy fingerpicked pattern that gets to the heart of his character.
Casimira - "You or Your Memory" by the Mountain Goats All of The Sunset Tree is about recovering from an abusive relationship with a father or stepfather, which is the heart of Casimira and her character development, and the opening song especially reflects her attitude towards leaving her father but not quite being free of him.
Thorn - "Marry Well" by ZZ Ward Thorn as a character is all blues rock with its cocky, self-assured swagger, but this song really takes the cake. It's her internal monologue as she walks through Komorrah thinking about how much better she is than everyone else.
Wolfgang - "Let's Not Pretend (To Be New Men)" by Crooked Fingers And sometimes the song writes the character. This song is about doing bad things and trying to reinvent yourself while at your core believing that such a thing will never happen. Ouch, that really hits the killer-turned-healer at his jugular.
MacGinty - "The Rover" by The Tossers The Tossers are a fake Irish band, as all their members are from Chicago, and most of their songs involve some galloping fiddle music and lyrics about running around practicing debauchery, which is kind of MacGinty's entire M.O.
Caspienne - "Float On" by Good Tiger Runners-up are "Come Sail Away" by Styx and "Swim Until You Can't See Land" by Frightened Rabbit. All of Caspienne's music is about following bodies of water, but among those three, it's the Good Tiger one that really stands out as being about her, with a river guiding her and taking her away from wherever she is now.
Flintlock - "Programmed Cell Death" by The Extra Lens Flintlock is pretty hard to find music for, as he hasn't revealed too much of himself to me yet, but as far as general tone goes, I feel it most in this song by John Darnielle's side band, what with an attempt at falsetto and some melancholy guitar.
Kelpie - "Bad Bad Things" by AJJ On the opposite side from Flintlock is Kelpie, whose signature music has to be Sean Bonnet aggressively playing guitar and singing happily about all of the terrible things he's just done to a woman and her family. Classic Kelpie move.
Sister Grimm - "You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive" by Ruby Friedman Orchestra Ok technically this song wasn't originally by Ruby Friedman Orchestra, but it's her version that really speaks to Sister Grimm's character in its description of a southern Gothic area ruled by nature that will never quite let go of you once it sinks its tendrils in.
S A S H A : Glory and Gore — Lorde: This song doesn't necessarily fit her now, but it will with time. When I think of Sasha, I think of this song. Whatever character development she faces is aimed for this song as the end goal. The harsh reality of gang feuds molds her into a character with an alignment that's more neutral than purely good. Her intensity strengthens, she matures, she becomes more logical and disciplined rather than reckless. She learns, as the song says, "glory and gore go hand in hand." Lyrics aside, the song itself mirrors her style; it's lasting and intense with rising tension. It sounds like a battle song, perfect for a woman warrior like her. Likewise, the song is also an ode to her love for guarding the Dodgers and, well, the thrill of fighting and being good at it. I could analyze nearly every lyric and describe how it relates to her (or how it will relate to her), but I won't. Icarus — Bastille: This song perfectly describes her youth (except for the lyrics about alcohol abuse). She has a lot of potential, but she relies too much on thrills rather than logic. She's brave, yes, but doesn't yet have the experience to know when to take a risk and when not to. It would seem like she's on her way to an early grave. But, unlike Icarus, she will realize the danger of her ways before she strays too close to the sun. The Draw — Bastille: It is no secret that Sasha feels a pull to the stray life. The streets are where she was born and raised; to her, they will always be her true home. Any time she was off the streets, she longed to be back on them where she could feel the pavement beneath her paws. She finds solace in the hustle-and-bustle of the city because it distracts her from herself. Who Are You, Really? — Mikky Ekko: Right now, this song is relevant because she joined the Dodgers during a dark era. She's an outsider joining their ranks, and one whose past is a mystery nonetheless. Considering the fragile state of the gang, I think they'd be skeptical about her. I imagine the opening lines of the song to be directed at any dog in the gang who looks down upon outsiders-turned-Dodger like her. She came from nothing and entered the gang with nothing, thus she feels like she has nothing to lose and no one to answer to except her superiors.
CHASE The Bucket by Kings of Leon: Kings of Leon really capture Chase's character, and this song in particular relates to the fast pace daily life of Chase. It's also a little insight to how Chase is coping with his new high rank; which is not well. The Distance by Cake: This song is the first one I ever related to Chase! It shows how hard he works, so hard that it can almost harm himself. Count On Me by Bruno Mars: This song is all about how Chase is reliable to his friends. It's cliche, but it truly shows his love for his friends and family.
BEATRICE St Jude by Florence and the Machine: This song speaks of the hopeless and loss that Beatrice feels on a day to day basis. She feels that she is going nowhere fast and that she is just stuck in the flow. I think this songs really relates to her disconnect to the dogs around her, and her attempts to cross that bridge and relate to the other Saints. No Friend by Paramore: This song has singing that can barely be heard over the music, giving it a discordant vibe. The song is able being idolised, but it's truly the music that work for Beatrice's character. It gives an insight to how Beatrice's daily thoughts are like, the messy chaos of her own mind. Girl With One Eye by Florence and the Machine: Florence and the Machine is definitely a band I associate with Beatrice! This song really gets into Beatrice's cruel side. If you hurt her, she'll harm you twice the amount. It's a caution tale for anyone who might become close to Beatrice, a side of her that is very thinly disguised.
CASTOR Rose-Colored Boy by Paramore: This song can be about Castor being unwilling to give up his pessimistic attitude and his lack of want to let anyone else see him in this sad state. It speaks about how he wants to just sit in his own sadness and he doesn't want anyone to pull him out of it. Car Radio by 21 Pilots: Another songs that speaks of Castor's self-loathing and his incapablity of dealing with his negativity in a healthy way. It's how he has to deal with this hurt, there's nothing that he can do to escape it.
