Chapter 4: Rooting For Hope
This is our fourth chapter installment of the sitewide plot! To move on, we need the available threads to be signed up for and completed by our members!
This time, we're trying something new in hopes to include all the gangs and all our members without leaving anyone out in the cold! As always, cats, loners, and creatures are largely not included in our plots, but can participate in open prompts sprinkled throughout! Don't forget to plot with your peers if your characters are in one of those groups and you're interested in involving yourself!
Each gang has it's own thread sign-ups page -- go to your character's corresponding gang page to sign up for a plot thread! If it's a shared plot thread between two gangs, you might be directed to a different page for sign-ups to ensure there's no conflict or overlapping sign-ups! For any questions, please direct them to the #help channel on our Discord or reach out to staff!
Gang Leaders are encouraged to ensure and keep plot threads are moving, keep them from being hitched on one player, and participate regularly with their characters as well!
A Few Important Reminders...
- Sitewide Plot threads should be prioritized! The quicker these move along, the quicker we can move the plot along!
- Please don't sign up for a thread if you don't think you can post regularly to it.
- You are allowed to sign up for multiple threads with multiple characters, but please ensure the events in this timeline don't clash with your characters' timelines!
- All replies in the second posting round will be subject to our limited posting window. Each person will have 5 days to reply before they can be skipped!
- If you're a thread leader, it's your responsibility to start the thread and keep it going! Don't let it get stuck on one person for two weeks; remember the limited posting window! Don't be afraid to tag people in the #tag-ur-it channel to remind them to post!
- Threads that are the direct result of another will go in chronological order with the next thread only being created after the other is nearly completed.
- Please make sure to mark plot threads with the new "P!" tag so we all know it's a sitewide plot thread!
To sign up for a thread, please check that it has a "Participants" section listed beneath it. If it does, it's a thread you can sign up for! Please fill out the form below for each thread you'd like to sign up for.

MAR 02: Unwilling to admit it, Daire is starting to come to terms with the fact that Ramesses might not be coming back after disappearing a few weeks ago. Not the type of dog to send out search parties for an otherwise strong gangmate, she ignores the problem - deeming him either unworthy to come back and be her Vice or a Turntail for not coming back at all. She does not look into the situation, nor considers the fact that so many others have disappeared as well. Perhaps someone should try to snap some sense into her!
MAR 04: With the order given to kill any trespassing Saints on sight, Daire seems to have a couple tricks up her sleeve. And no, they’re not for the Saints just yet. She heard from a little birdie that the Dodgers have a new Boss... that it’s not Banna anymore. So, with this, she decides to pay him a little visit and tell him what’s up, why she should still be feared.
MAR 05: Unhappy with Chase’s reaction to her threats, Daire sends two of her best fighters to the city to pick off a random Dodger and rough them up. The attack is meticulous and the victim is left alive. They are sent home with a message from Daire: 'Congrats on ya promotion, Chase.'
MAR 08: With a direct act of violence committed, Daire holds a meeting to encourage her misfits to rain hellfire down on the Dodgers. She encourages them to steal, attack, trespass, and be general dicks to the gang next door. Her reasoning? None ya business. Daire wants to push the new Boss’ buttons and see where it goes.
This thread will be open to any Yardie that wants to hop in! No sign-up required.
MAR 08 - 17 (OPEN PROMPT): Yardies are encouraged to attack Dodgers on sight.... in their city! Have a thread where your Yardie(s) gang up on a Dodger or two!
MAR 15: It’s a curious thought for some Yardies, but their theory is that Daire is doing all this to mask and distract her misfits from thinking about Ramesses’ disappearance and Daire’s lack of action about it. It’s a plausible theory that’d make sense if it were confirmed true... Why is Daire doing this?
MAR 16: Daire has chosen a few trustworthy dogs to organize a raid in Dodger territory. Without High Ranks, she has no one to do this for her. A few dogs are chosen to participate based on their skills. They are tasked with hitting a local restaurant, allowed to be a vicious as possible, with the promise that they will escape with some food to bring home to the asylum.
MAR 17: A meticulous Yardie in the Health job fakes an injury by allowing one of their gangmates to bite into them a few times... you know, to make it look convincing. Their intent? Infiltrate the Dodgers as a Loner who was attacked by a Yardie on the streets... ask for shelter, ask for medical attention, and find out what they can about how the Dodgers operate. And don’t forget to hide your scent!
MAR 19: Daire has instructed her dogs to rob the Dodgers blind... because they owe her. For what? No one is quite sure, but no one also wants to question their boss... Two Yardies sneak into the city to scope out the Dodgers’ storage place, how penetrable it is, and how hard it’d be to steal some of the goods locked away tight in there! Daire wasn’t specific on the details, but one thing’s for certain: don’t get caught!
NOTE: The Dodger’s storage is located in the Labyrinth in one of the abandoned apartments toward the Labyrinth’s center, right in the heart of Dodger territory!
- PARTICIPANTS: Banshee , @darcy *
MAR 20: With the information the dogs brought back from the day before and a pension for impatience and impulsivity, three Yardies decide that it’s time to make their first attempt to crack open the Dodgers’ storage!
- PARTICIPANTS: @darcy *, Eclipse , Rocco ; @raff , @button , Juno , Fallon (3x Yardies; unlimited Dodgers)
MAR 27: Following the first attempt’s disaster, two Yardies decide to take it from a smarter approach. They take their time scouting out the place, watching the comings-and-goings of the Dodgers who drop their resources off there. They read patterns, take notes, and wait for the time when the Dodgers aren’t frequenting their stores. A few hours after their feast, these two Yardies stealthily approach their storage and quietly take as much as they can fit into their cloth canvas bags. But all isn’t as it seems...
MAR 31: A Yardie heads into the city looking for a quick meal. Much to their surprise, they’re able to find a stash of meat hidden away in an alleyway rather easily. Thinking nothing of it, they gobble it down without regard... only to have some fierce abdominal pain and suffering later! Hobbling home feeling sickly and ill, they encounter a Dodger on their way out...
- PARTICIPANTS: @nezuko *, @durango (1x Yardie; 1x Dodger)
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I have threads based off the events happening this chapter?
A: Absolutely! These are what we call "spin-off threads"! In fact, with so many big events going on in this chapter, we recommend that you do! We'd still love for players to engage in the plot events even if they didn't sign any of their characters up for any of the plot threads!
Q: Can I sign up for multiple plot threads?
A: As long as you can post regularly to them, yes! And don't worry about being a thread hog! We usually are short on sign-ups, rather than threads!
Q: My thread partner hasn't posted in the 5-day window. Can I skip them? Will they be annoyed with me?
A: Yes, you can skip them! We encourage you to skip them to keep the thread going. Don't worry about them being annoyed with you - they shouldn't be! They signed up for the thread knowing the posting window and what happens when they can't make a post within that time frame.
We're so glad that everyone here is so polite! If you're very concerned with angering someone, you can always shoot them a PM or a DM, some reminder that they're nearing the end of the posting window and ask whether they're able or planning to post. Chances are, you'll get the greenlight to skip them or you'll get a confirmation that they'll send in a post within the next day or so.
However, if someone has mentioned that they will post, but hasn't and it's been a week or more, you've got the greenlight from us to post to keep your thread going. Your thread partner can pick up where they left off in the next posting round!
