about us This is Komorrah, a city full of corruption, poverty, and crime. While there's good and bad in every city, this one has dogs. A lot of stray dogs.
Set in a modern-day, fictionalized version of New York City, Komorrah has much to offer our gang dogs. Strays on the street feed from human negligence and thrive on the loopholes they can fit their snouts in. It's every dog for themselves
out there, though living with and having the support of a gang is helpful.
Tensions rise, enemies are made, but perhaps alliances are arranged. Only the strong survive this harsh hand the strays have been dealt. What will be your choice in Infidelis?
featured adoptable CANAILLE • APP Canaille loves to play tricks; he’s always been a trickster at heart. Canaille has a pension for getting himself in sticky situations, though. He’s got a smart mouth and while clever, it’s not always enough to get him out of trouble. He likes to play pranks on those around him, often at their expense. He cares little for how his jokes are received, and even less for the consequences they sometimes cause.
Nestled in the heart of Komorrah itself is the city. Honking horns, a constant flow of people, and an ebbing murmur of sounds gives the city both its appeal and chaos. The city expansive and wild; it's crowded and perfect for someone who just wants to blend in. It's here, in the gullet of Kessir, where the Dodgers call their home; you'll find their dens in the Labyrinth.

It's 3 PM in the Abandoned City Hall Subway Station, and you're feeling apprehensive for no apparent reason.
Now this was a place she didn't frequent. Going underground, where it was difficult to get out of if your exit got blocked off, wasn't necessarily a good idea to her, but this place was nice and quiet. Given the chaos surrounding the gang lately, with the Yardies coming in and making things difficult for them, Rhea liked finding places that were peaceful.
Now, though, she was wishing she hadn't come down here.
It was dark and gloomy, but that wasn't what bothered her. No, she actually wasn't sure what was bothering her. There was nothing that stood out to her as being a problem as she looked around. No cats to pester her, and it didn't seem like there were any other dogs in there either. At least, none that she could see at a glance. So why did she feel like she wanted to run?
Honestly, she shouldn't have been surprised. It was a common feeling for her, but usually she could actually point to something that was causing it, even if no one else could see it. She'd come to learn that no one else could really see or hear what was bothering her most of the time, and she was definitely the only one who could feel the phantom pains that plagued her. Now, she couldn't even say what it was that was bothering her.
Instead, she was forced to come to a halt and stand in the middle of the station with her head slightly lowered, trying to keep her hair from standing on end.
Bellatrix caught the scent of another dog, and her ears perked up. She welcomed the darkness that engulfed her, keeping her hidden from the things around her. As she padded toward the scent of the other dog, her nail dragged against the floor, creating a sound. She snorted as she saw the small she-dog standing in the middle of the station with her head slightly lowered. Her ice-blue eyes narrowed as she emerged from the shadows to stand staring at the she-dog in front of her. "I thought I was alone here," she said. Sighing, she wagged her ring tail a little bit before saying, "Oh, well. I suppose some company would be nice in this darkness... Wouldn't it?" There was an edge to her voice. Her eyes studied the she-dog carefully as she looked at the she-dog's size and build curiously. She smelled like a Dodger. "So you're a Dodger, huh?" Her voice was almost taunting. "What are you doing here all alone?"
Rhea , zena ~ Hope you don't mind me joining in! :3
It wasn't long before a voice rang out, and Rhea looked around almost wildly, trying to figure out where it was coming from. It wasn't one she recognized, though when she spotted the speaker she briefly thought the woman was Fallon. She was about to wag her tail excitedly, thinking her friend was there with her at least, when she realized this stranger wasn't one of her closest companions.
Rhea was about to reply when the woman's scent hit her, and she immediately cowered. Oh god. Oh no. They had finally found her. After all this time, they had come for her. Well, she wasn't going to go down without a fight, oh no. Still, she couldn't keep herself from shaking slightly, even as she stared at the other woman.
"Please," she begged quietly. "This is my home. Please... just... don't do this." She was terrified, truly she was. Though she had known this day would come, she had never expected them to come onto Dodger territory after her. This was just like when the Yardies had attacked. This place was supposed to be safe, it was why she rarely if ever left their turf. Evidently, that wasn't true.
She gave a wicked smile and tilted her head to the side. "Why do you look so frightened?" Bellatrix gazed around, then her ice-blue eyes rested back on the new she-dog. "I won't hurt you... yet, anyway."
Looking at the lightly trembling dog, Bellatrix shook out her fur. She glanced around one more time, "This place is nice." She sighed, unsure if she should chase the other she-dog out of this place and claim it as her own for the time being. Would claiming it even be useful to her?
She stretched, revealing the rest of her body. The Kangal mix took a few steps toward the new she-dog, then she sat down, her head lowered as she stared at the new creature. Her ring-style tail slowly wagged side to side, almost menacingly. She revealed her large, sharp teeth whenever she spoke. "You know, this may be your home, and yet somehow I have infiltrated it. Does that mean weakness within your gang?"
Bellatrix sighed once more and gave the she-dog a sideways glance. "Perhaps we could be friends. My name is Bellatrix. What's yours?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She was just waiting for the teeth around her throat, the claws in her side, to be torn to shreds for daring to exist. Surely they had come here after her. Perhaps they had heard she was alive from the Yardies and wanted to finally finish the job. She couldn't possibly have enough luck to survive an attack the third time, could she? First the Saints, then the Yardies... now once again by her former gang. Her luck had run out.
Or had it?
Though part of her recognized that the woman wasn't attacking her yet, her sheer terror kept her from finding solace in it. Though she continued trembling, she didn't run. Running had never helped her before, and it wasn't her style anyway. There wasn't any flight or fight from this one. It was just freeze.
Finally, though, she forced herself to find her voice. "You're a... one of them," she gasped out, still entirely unable to voice the name of their gang despite one of their members sitting right in front of her, clearly having found her. Best to ignore the next question, she thought. She certainly wasn't going to mention that the Yardies had been creeping on their territory for a while now, nor was she even going to attempt to posture. That wasn't in her vocabulary either.
"I'm... Rhea," she replied slowly. It never crossed her mind to lie about it. If this Bellatrix knew who she was then it wouldn't do any good to make something up. It would probably just make her angry instead. If she was offering to be friends though... perhaps there was a chance she could make it out of this. Surely Karma didn't still remember her? Surely the "angel" had better things to worry about? To be fair, though, her colossal act of stupidity right before she was tossed from the gang was something that might just stick in Karma's mind.
"Friends are good," she added softly, still quaking but speaking slightly better now. "I don't have any from other gangs." Mostly because she never left Dodger territory anymore, so this was the only way she'd ever meet an outsider. It wasn't the best of circumstances, but she would take a new friend over a new scar any day.
Ah, yes, Rhea... a beautiful name. Just not intimidating. This she-dog, Rhea, seemed as if she'd make a reliable source of information. "I'm a what? A Saint?" She chuckled softly, her eyes closed, then opened them again to reveal their icy-blue color. "Why yes, friends are good. It's nice to meet you Rhea..."
This new she-dog didn't seem to like talking very much. "What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" She chuckled again, louder. "You don't have to be so shy."
She didn't mean to sound taunting, just intimidating. Bellatrix swiped her tongue around her jaws, her blue eyes resting on Rhea. She narrowed her eyes as she read the she-dog's expression. Was she contemplating running? Bellatrix doubted it, and even so the odds would not be in Rhea's favor.
Bellatrix yawned. "It's awfully dark down here. Why don't we go back up to the surface where there's more light?"
Her hackles raised as a foul smell reached her nose, but she ignored it. It smelled of rats and rotten foods. The she-dog would have been happy to get out of this dark, dank place. _________________________________
"Yes," she breathed as the other woman mentioned the name. She still couldn't bring herself to say it despite having one of their members right in front of her. It just ran too deep. Rhea forced herself to attempt to relax, and while it wasn't very effective a slight bit of tension left her. Otherwise, she'd probably drop dead of a heart attack before Bellatrix could do anything to her.
"Okay," she said, forcing herself to smile. Her life might just depend on it, she realized. If she couldn't act normal, then who knew what would happen to her. "I'll try." It wasn't easy for her on a good day, unfortunately. Still, she did enjoy having new friends. Maybe she could convince herself this really was Fallon she was talking to. Just.. a grumpier version.
"That would be nice, actually," she agreed. It was dark and dreary. Besides, if she was going to die then she wanted to do it where she could see the sky. "It smells kind of... weird too," she said, wrinkling her nose. She turned slightly towards the exit, still looking over at Bellatrix. She was neither going to turn her back on the other woman, nor expect her to turn hers. They could walk up together, she thought. That would be fair.
"So, what do you do in your gang?" she asked with genuine curiosity. She was still nervous as hell, but she was going to give it her best effort to be sociable. It was all she could do. It also wasn't in her to be rude, even when she was scared out of her mind.
