Tensions were growing higher and higher, now that the Dodgers were beginning to bare their fangs. And after what they had done to that patrol only a few days ago...It pained Nutmeg to see her gangmates so injured. To see one of her gangmates dead. And yet, she couldn't summon the anger and hatred that her gangmates had. Didn't they see that this was...well, their fault? Of course, Nutmeg didn't voice her opinion though. She kept it silent within her chest, and merely smiled and laughed at the chorusing howls that promised vengeance or of tearing the poor city dogs from limb to limb.
With her thoughts heavy, the brown dog scuffled through the alley ways on a solo scraping trip. So far, she hadn't had any luck. Which wasn't unsurprising, the slums were a harsh area. Finding stray food without outright stealing it wasn't entirely common. And so, she neared the Dodgers border, where Sparrow and Kessir daringly touched, if just trying to benefit from the slightly 'better' area, where poverty wasn't as common. She had no intentions on crossing the border - of stealing.
Of course...that thought wasn't shared with the rest of her gangmates.
The cries of pain and snarls of violence just beyond the border and onto the Dodger's side made her ears perk. She lifted her dust covered nose from the ground and tilted her head. Usually, Nutmeg flinched away from sights of gore and blood. But...something felt off. Something wasn't right. And so, she found herself speeding forth and...she felt her heart wrench in her heart.
The sight of a Dodger standing over a piece of prey, bleeding and damaged - cornered within an alley way, but, refusing to give in. And who was their attacker? None other than a member of her own gang.
Her legs moved before her mind, and she found herself skidding to a halt. However, instead of backing up her gangmate in what she assumed was their attempt at thievery, she stood in front of the cowering Dodger. Her tail lifted straight up, her fur bristling, but, her eyes otherwise unsure, if not terrified. "Hey! That's enough, stop it! This isn't right!"
notes Open to one other Yardie, may open it for others later! I...wanted to cause some controversy lmao - Nutmeg strongly disagrees with what the Yardies are doing, after all! If you have any questions, or something, please feel free to DM me on discord!
