Chapter 6: The Edge of Dawn
This is the sixth chapter of our sitewide plot! To move on, we need the available threads to be signed up for and completed by our members!
Each gang has its own thread sign-ups page -- go to your character's corresponding gang page to sign up for a plot thread or nab an open prompt! If it's a shared plot point between two gangs, you might be directed to a different page to ensure there's no conflict or overlapping sign-ups! For any questions, please direct them to the #help channel on our Discord or reach out to staff!
A Few Important Reminders...
- Sitewide Plot threads (ones you had to sign up for) should be prioritized! The quicker these move along, the quicker we can move the plot along!
- You are allowed to sign up for multiple threads with multiple characters, but please ensure the events in this timeline don't clash with your characters' timelines!
- All replies in the second posting round will be subject to our limited posting window. Each person will have 5 days to reply before they can be skipped!
- If you're a thread leader, it's your responsibility to start the thread and keep it going! Don't let it get stuck on one person for two weeks; remember the limited posting window! Don't be afraid to tag people in the #tag-ur-it channel to remind them to post!
- Threads that are the direct result of another will go in chronological order with the next thread only being created after the other is nearly completed.
- Please make sure to mark plot threads with the new "P!" tag so we all know it's a sitewide plot thread! This does not apply to open prompt threads.
- Asterisk (*) indicates player is willing to start the thread
To sign up for a thread, please check that it has a "Participants" section listed beneath it. If it does, it's a thread you can sign up for! Please fill out the form below for each thread you'd like to sign up for.
Thread Date:
Short Description of Thread: (applicable only if there's multiple threads on the same date, let us know which thread you're signing up for!)
Characters Signing Up: (list the character(s) you wish to sign up for this thread)
Roles Being Fulfilled: (if applicable, fill in the role your character will be fulfilling)

Please wait until a Staff Member gives you the OK to start a plot thread!
With Chase's death fresh on the minds of the Dodgers, Daire returns to the Asylum and begins preparing for the raid she had set them up for. She wants Kessir, the Labyrinth, just to spite them. Their Boss is dead, so who will organize them now? No one. This is the best time to strike.
Daire briefs the dogs on what she wants them to do and what she expects of them. Everyone has a role; everyone has a job, so do it.
MAY 01: Daire climbs up on her soapbox and announces what she has done, what she has set in motion, and what will be done in the coming days. She tells her Yardies that this is the time to shine and they will, once and for all, show the Dodgers who the fuck is boss!
- PARTICIPANTS: OPEN (no sign-up required)
OPEN PROMPT: In the next few days, Yardies are urged to practice fighting, stealth, and war tactics as the gang prepares itself for an all-out raid on the Dodgers territory. It’s coming soon, so don’t dally! Have a thread where your character is practicing one of their specialties!
MAY 02: Stryker sends two dogs to spy on the Dodgers, to find out what they know about Chase’s death, and how they’re planning to retaliate, how many Dodgers dogs are present, along with any route they could use against them, etc. Daire wants all the details that they can use against them!
MAY 03: Daire rallies her fighters and the plan is given; four groups are divided and hit the Dodgers base from all sides during the early hints of morning when dogs are just being dispatched for the day. The first plan is to close off all exits from the Labyrinth, and then hold them there. Daire wants to give them an opportunity to surrender and give up Kessir, though has no issue with taking it by force either.
- PARTICIPANTS: OPEN (no sign-up required)
With a victory secured later that day, the Yardies settle down to enjoy their newest prize: Kessir. Most of the fighters stay in Kessir, holding off the opposition, while some go back to Sparrow to guard the asylum in case the Dodgers want to play an eye-for-an-eye. One message is clear: the battle has been won, now time to reap the rewards!
OPEN PROMPT: Have a thread where your character indulges in the many benefits of Kessir -- perhaps that’s rolling in a bed that isn’t theirs; eating food that was once collected by their enemy; or just destroying the old and replacing it with new! Either way, reap the rewards and enjoy!
OPEN PROMPT: Keep the Dodgers at bay! Have a thread where your character warns off or attacks a Dodger ebbing too close to their new prize! Perhaps they’re snooping or just ensuring that Tunshow is not the next to be claimed, you don’t care!
MAY 12: A Yardie Scout heads to Richardson for a routine patrol, expecting nothing out of the ordinary. What they’re met with instead is the White Devil herself! Karma sends them home with a disturbing message.
Sign up for this thread on the Saints Plot page!
MAY 13: This disturbing news reaches Daire at the most inopportune time! Stuck between abandoning Kessir (and her pride) for retaliating against the Saints for taking a portion of her territory, Daire chooses to stay put... though she’s heavily distracted with rage while trying to plot how to get Richardson back.
MAY 15: During the heavy city bustle of the evening, the Dodgers slip into Kessir unnoticed. Using the tunnels, the alleyways, and the secret shortcuts through the abandoned row houses, the Dodgers are able to slip in and badly injure any Yardie found in their path. This time, they travel in pairs or triplets, and they think smarter. By the time Daire is alerted that Kessir is surrounded, most of her Yardie troops are already dispatched.
- PARTICIPANTS: OPEN (no sign-up required)
OPEN PROMPT (May 15): Have a thread where your character is jumped by the Dodgers! They’re likely to be outnumbered and they’re very likely to lose the fight! But hey, one thing a Yardie’s taught from puphood is how to take a beating!
MAY 15: Defeated, angry, and embarrassed, the Yardies return back to Sparrow with their tails between their legs. Daire’s rage is growing, though she can’t help but feel like she’d been tricked at her own game. Her dogs return to Sparrow to lick their wounds and plan out their next course of action: confront Karma.
MAY 27: Daire rallies a few of her healthiest strong dogs and strides into Richardson to confront the beast that took it from her. She’s pissed to smell Saints all over the place and it isn’t long before she and her posse are stopped... by Karma herself. It’s about to be an all-out turf war!
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I have threads based off the events happening this chapter?
A: Absolutely! These are what we call "spin-off threads"! In fact, with so many big events going on in this chapter, we recommend that you do! We'd still love for players to engage in the plot events even if they didn't sign any of their characters up for any of the plot threads!
Q: Can I sign up for multiple plot threads?
A: As long as you can post regularly to them, yes! And don't worry about being a thread hog! We usually are short on sign-ups, rather than threads!
Q: My thread partner hasn't posted in the 5-day window. Can I skip them? Will they be annoyed with me?
A: Yes, you can skip them! We encourage you to skip them to keep the thread going. Don't worry about them being annoyed with you - they shouldn't be! They signed up for the thread knowing the posting window and what happens when they can't make a post within that time frame.
We're so glad that everyone here is so polite! If you're very concerned with angering someone, you can always shoot them a PM or a DM, some reminder that they're nearing the end of the posting window and ask whether they're able or planning to post. Chances are, you'll get the greenlight to skip them or you'll get a confirmation that they'll send in a post within the next day or so.
However, if someone has mentioned that they will post, but hasn't and it's been a week or more, you've got the greenlight from us to post to keep your thread going. Your thread partner can pick up where they left off in the next posting round!
