about us This is Komorrah, a city full of corruption, poverty, and crime. While there's good and bad in every city, this one has dogs. A lot of stray dogs.
Set in a modern-day, fictionalized version of New York City, Komorrah has much to offer our gang dogs. Strays on the street feed from human negligence and thrive on the loopholes they can fit their snouts in. It's every dog for themselves
out there, though living with and having the support of a gang is helpful.
Tensions rise, enemies are made, but perhaps alliances are arranged. Only the strong survive this harsh hand the strays have been dealt. What will be your choice in Infidelis?
featured adoptable CANAILLE • APP Canaille loves to play tricks; he’s always been a trickster at heart. Canaille has a pension for getting himself in sticky situations, though. He’s got a smart mouth and while clever, it’s not always enough to get him out of trouble. He likes to play pranks on those around him, often at their expense. He cares little for how his jokes are received, and even less for the consequences they sometimes cause.
Across from the river that splits the Slums from the vegetation beyond, the landscape changes drastically from day to night. Concrete and buildings melt away to dirt roads and trees; sunlight once obstructed by towering structures now dapples the leafy ground, dancing in the gentle breeze. The forest is eerily silent once you penetrate its core, though it boasts expansive meadows, looming trees, and forgotten structures deep, deep in the forest. From tall slopes and jutting cliffs, the city can be seen, but not heard.
The Almakee State Forest is a different world with different dangers, such as mountain lions and bears, but it also offers so much more than the city can. New food sources are abundant here: deer, rabbits, field mice. A swift and skilled hunter could find a lot of food here, but not all dogs know how to channel their feral instincts. The forest is teeming with life both good and bad in the warmer months, though is practically a ghost-forest in the wintertime.

Malice wasn't entirely feeling herself, she was still feeling an emotional swirl from what happened. Still, though she had to stay true to herself and push through. She paced along the side of the river, stopping for a small break that wasn't needed but frustration hit. Malice needed a moment to think. Best to take things one day at a time and right now, she needed to find something to eat. Something to hunt or at least try and hunt.
It was cloudy out, probably going to rain later on. Malice wanted to get this over with before the rains started, she did not want to try her paw at hunting in the rain. That would be rather tricky and it didn't help she wasn't a natural hunter, she made do and got lucky. Practice makes perfect for those not born with the seemingly natural ability.
Suddenly a flash of white ran by her, a rabbit maybe? She took off in that direction. Now she wasn't as fast or agile as those shepherd type breeds but still she got around okay. If it was enough to catch something like a rabbit? Maybe or maybe she'd get lucky.
In the distance she saw it, it wasn't really doing anything but was on alert. Malice got down low, her stomach hit the ground, and she started to stalk to small animal. Being as quiet as possible... one more.. Step and she lunged with all the power she had left and tried to grab the small creature. She missed this one sadly.
Malice landed with a somewhat graceful thud "Damn it" She cursed under her breath and sighed. It happened but that didn't help, now she had to find perhaps another small bugger or something else she could hunt. Maybe she'd be better off with something a bit larger and not as quick.
Wait.. What was that? Malice spun around, she swore she'd heard something. Looking around through the forest now she heard it again but in another direction. Malice knew mountain lions and other large predators roamed around here, but she didn't feel that bothered by them.
"Please" She huffed with a roll of her eyes as she shook her head. "I can hear you, you do realise that right ya block head" She sat down for a moment and awaited a response. Malice was very sure it was another dog and not a large predator stalking her as a yummy treat.
Hefty head tipped to the ground and breathing in deeply, the white mastiff mix focused intently as she silently trotted through the wide expanse of trees. What had once been a hunting trip had turned into something far...different. Something she hadn't expected. And, for once, Karma was aware of the slight pound of her own heart in her chest. Was this hope? Anxiety? Fear? Of course, just as quickly as those questions arose, she scoffed at them, replacing them with the blank coldness that she was. Still, one thought ran clear in her mind...'I've found you.'
The idea of getting her troublesome daughter out of her fur had been one she, often, thought about it. She had no use for dogs who weren't obedient after all. And her family should've been no different. And yet, after the fire and loss of their home, not seeing those two, her own flesh and blood standing among the survivors...Hurt. Horribly. And the more she tried to console herself or get over it, the worst that painful feeling grew. Was this how a mother was supposed to feel?
She tried to justify internally that, though Malice was troublesome, she was still useful. Surely, that was why she felt a need to go and find her. But, even the white queen couldn't ignore the elevated feeling of her spirits as she followed the slightly faint scent until...she found her.
Her dark pelt and golden eyes were unmistakable. The scent that was so close to her own...Had she no self control, her tail might've given a single wag. As much as she would truly never admit it...The loss of her children had worried her.
And so, as Malice beckoned her forth, Karma came. White fur brilliant, she revealed herself from the dark undergrowth. Unfortunately...as 'happy' as Karma was, or as much progress she'd made with acknowledging and displaying her emotions...
She was still Karma in the end. "....Pitiful. You should've been able to catch that." Critical, sharp words fell from her lips, her judgmental stare hard. Some would argue that Karma treated her sole daughter far more critically than even that of a bait dog. Was it out of hatred though, or her warped sense of 'love'? But, as her maw opened, prepared to deliver more cruel words, she found them stuck in her throat. "You're....okay?" The words, though gruff, were awkward, and questioning. Perhaps even hesitant, and far softer than her previous.
"speech !! "

Malice had paused again still listening for more of those sounds she'd heard before. Suddenly out of the darkness, she saw a rather large white dog figure. Wait...
"Mother?" Of course it was there wasn't any mistaking Karma for anyone else. Malice was not sure what to say at first, she stuck between shocked, worried and why should she be caring. Probably about another couple hundred emotions in that field as well. All crashing into her thoughts as she stare at the white panther like dog she called mother.
Soon enough Karma had shown herself in all true fashion, Malice held back a sigh, glancing away she frowned slightly and felt rather annoyed. Of course that would be the first thing she'd point out, her failure.. That was a typical sting she'd often get even when she didn't fail it often felt the same. Now you could say it was Karma but Malice often wondered why her.
Malice turned more, so she could focus on Karma, she watched her and listened, as she was about to reply back with her own snark retort something unexpected came.
Malice swallowed back the words that lingered on the tip of her tongue. She was taken a back but the slight difference in her tone. Had she really been.. Concerned? Worried...really? What even. How does she answer that well minus the obvious. This wasn't entirely a normal situation. She wanted to be a smart arse, something.. Anything. It was her prime chance to get in a snarky word, the timing was perfect and the cards were in her hand.
"None the worse for wear" Was what she could manage, Malice spoke rather half heartedly and now expecting her mother to refocus and return to normal. She half cursed that missed chance, oh well the times were rough right now and perhaps holding off this once was not entirely such a bad thing. "And... you?" Malice asked curiously.
The weird tenseness between them both was innate. Usually, Karma didn't think twice of her twisted relationship with Malice. There was nothing between them but anger, hatred, and spite - something that never really bothered her. She didn't need to have a positive relationship with her flesh and blood. As long as Malice was obedient when she needed her to be, that was fine. And yet, the idea of very nearly losing not one, but, both of her children had been....A rather painful realization. What she had once considered a burden off of her back had quickly found itself turning into an annoyance that haunted her dreams.
Surprisingly, a snarky or snarled reply wasn't what she received, nor a cold shoulder. Equally awkward, if not slightly dismissive, words tumbled from her daughter's throat before she, surprisingly, returned the question. It was innate and natural to want to respond coldly, if not cruelly. Karma had to bite her tongue several times, if just to gruffly answer, "well enough." Her wounds were healing now that she finally got medical attention. A few places she'd been shot with a gun were still incredibly painful, but, nothing she wasn't unused to.
"Your brother?" The question was more like a demand, "is he well? Alive?" Outlaw had always been a sore, soft spot for the white dog, one that she would never admit to. Did she favor him over Malice? No. She liked to believe she equally disliked them both. Did it appear that way?...Well...
And there it was, Malice really shouldn't have tried. Why had she tried, she just.. She .. Who.. AH. Malice let out a loud sigh, her expression was edged with a frown and a burning stare. Not that it would ever affect her mother, it was pointless but that was also Malice. This was how she reacted to things like this, with anger or sarcasm, most of the time generally both. A lot of the time she preferred letting her teeth do the talking, of course depending on who dare bother to speak to her. Some were lucky, some were very unlucky.
"Yes... mother.. Outlaw never left my side when we escaped. He is doing well and recovering nicely" She was bitter, oh gosh was she bitter. Like a sweet and sour sauce but someone forgot to add in the sweet, just added extra sour like oh well whoops that is fine. "I was just out on a hunt, trying to secure a meal" Stupid little fluffy no good punk ass Rabbit. She had been made a fool and in front of her mother no less.
Now.. What now. Was her mother going to explain what was going on, probably not or maybe so but either way Malice bet her to the buzzer "So, what now.. I'm sure you have a back up plan after this mess? Am I to be included?" Malice asked, one eyebrow raised. She was wondering how her mother would answer this, it was less quiet.. Less calm now .. And no doubt because Malice had gone off like a firecracker, Karma would as well.
