Rythwyver, always friendly and always attentive! I love how she writes and I also love that she is always ready to roleplay! Her eagerness for it inspires me and I feel like she deserves spotlight player because she's been an amazing addition to the site!

Featured Personal Plot: Kingsley x Verlione

Loving the development of Kingsley and Verlione going hunting for monsters, especially how Verlione is very hesitant but doesn't show it and Kingsley is all gunho! I love that they are smaller breeds but don't let that stop them!

Best Character Development: Cleo

Cleo is definitely up there because she's gone from grumpy to less grumpy, but she is trying her hardest to get along with her packmates and is reluctantly being charmed by so many manly Eye's boys!

Fan Favorite Character: Czar

He's just an all around interesting character! He tries so hard and wants so much out of his pack, I hope we don't disappoint him! He is so good inside!

Updates

MAJOR MAP (+ TERRITORIES) UPDATE

It’s here! The big update we’ve been psyching you guys up for is here! The new map is done, the territories you guys contributed through the contest are on it, and with that, new boards and new places to roleplay are here!

We’ve released two map versions: one is the regular map with regular colors, gang claims, and territories, while the other is a map that shows the new forum divisions in bright, differentiating colors. We understand that the new divisions will be a bit confusing at first, and we hope that the divisions map will keep most of that confusion at bay. Both maps are available on the Territories page, and the regular map will be available for a fast-click resource on the sidebar.

We also reconfigured the territory page we previously had into six different pages, each coinciding with their parent division. Some of our old areas got a revamp, while a ton of new ones have been added! The new pages can be found through the Territories page directory.

The physical updates to get everything in place should only take about an hour tops -- and we’re probably already at work behind the scenes doing the updates as you are reading this c:

NEW BOARDS

With the new, bigger map, we’ve expanded our territory and added a few new boards to the playing field! Now, instead of just the city, the slums, the coast, etc., our boards are a bit more dynamic and have a range of places within each. We strongly advise everyone to keep the Territories page handy when getting used to everything. Where you thought the slums were, might not be -- and having the page open with the area you want to set your thread in will help you find the correct board quickly!

Additionally, there are now specific boards for the gangs’ main headquarters! While anyone can access the boards and read the threads inside, to create a thread within the board, your character needs to be part of that gang first! We configured it this way to both bar confusion, but also keep these places somewhat secure. It’s highly unlikely a trespasser would get as far into a gang territory to be able to penetrate their gang base without being caught by one of the resident gang members first, and this just enforces that. These boards are meant to be a private place for all threads inside of a gang’s base and nothing else. The other boards are to be used to roleplay anywhere else in your gang’s territory.

Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis, usually for major plots and such. Please speak to a staff member if you have concerns.

FIRST TONGUE ADDED

Remember that First Tongue update we made a dog’s age ago? Yeah, us neither, but! The good news is that an explanation has finally been added to the Realism page in the guidebook. The addition explains how First Tongue works and who can speak it, and how to roleplay those who do.

BUgs & Such

With a huge update such as this, there are bound to be some bugs, typos, or other mishaps along the way. If you find one, please report it to us! You can do so by reaching out to us directly or posting to General Maintenance and filling out the Bug Form. Thank you!

Future Plans

Those of you who have been with us a while know that the updates never stop. We still have a few bigger projects in store for Infidelis in the near future, though we don’t have a specific deadline for the next project yet! Silvy and Sammiie are gonna take a little sabbatical on the major staff work this month to catch up on posts (and the boardwide plot) we’ve been neglecting while working on the map updates. Additionally, there may be a fun OOC event coming up, so look out for that!

We will (eventually) begin working on those detailed gang pages you’ve probably heard us mention, and there will be an eventual new skin in the foreseeable future as well!
